Does Cartia XT 120mg cause throat to close up? I keep getting this feeling at night right after I take it. ?

I have been taking this medicine for just about a month now. I'm not sure if this feeling is a side effect. I haven't been able to sleep the last few nights. It happens immediately after I take the medicine which is right before bed. Any suggestions? Maybe its just the weather or allergies.
