Stuck in the process of taking out an Auto-Transmission from a 1969 Cadillac Eldorado?

For a 69 Cadillac, you're probably looking at one of two different trans missions.. either a t 350 or a T 400.. either one is fairly easy to rebuild, but without all the proper tools for adjusting the internals ( in/lb torque wrenchs is a must) it can be cheaper to just buy a rebuilt one from either a trans shop or parts house.. neither should run over a grand, and even at a grand its not a bad price when you figure the valve body, clutches and steels, and all internal seals are new, which is over half the price just in parts alone. Don't let the cadillac name fool ya..it didn't make a big difference back then, it's just a heavy duty transmission to deal with the car weight.

DOCTORS/NURSES HELP!! Endometrial Cancer, AFTER surgery AND radiation therapy.?

52yr diagnosed with cancer, did the surgery, did radiation therapy, declined chemotherapy. it has been 19 months since last treatment. she has lost weight, has a loss of appetite, weakness (cant go up stairs or walk with out stopping). Basically, I met my current partner while i was married. I split the equity in the house with my ex and have not and will not be making any claims on his pension. He is now with someone else anyway and expecting a baby so when he dies im sure all will go to his new partner. I'm not that well versred on solar cells--and wish that I was. I saw a show on TV not long ago (I wish that I remebered the network and the name of the show) where a couple chose to live in the Canadian wilderness and used solar panels (photovoltaic) in order to provide electricity to their house. It seems that everything was operated on a 12V DC circuit, because the incandescent lights were 12V lamps. I would guess that you would need some kkind of voltage regulator and storage batteries since the incident light that strikes the panels is not going to be constant in terms of luminescence.

I have been in a relationship for over two years with a man that was my superior officer in a law enforcement setting. We now have twin boys 1 yr old. Here is a brief history...we started off great! Loved spending time with each other and were on the same page majority of the time. Then I noticed he would fly off the handle and break up with me over small petty things. Then a few days later everything would be fine again. I couldn't wrap my head around the reasons behind this behavior. I became pregnant and we decided to have the children, we planned on getting married (he even spoke to my father about it) two days after he moved into my home I found out he had been cheating the entire time we were together. I found videos of threesums and foursomes he had text messages, pics sent back and forth, emails, personal ads, and with SEVERAL different women. I kicked him out. He apologized and vowed to never do those things again. He blamed it on stress. Again I caught him an again and again. It was outrageous behavior. We worked through it and I took him back. He left to go overseas for a much better paying job. I left my job as a cop to stay home with my children while he supported us. Now, on bad days, I get a guilt trip for staying home and being supported by a man that makes 200k now. Mind you this was his idea. We broke up AGAIN for a while on my terms because of all the crap I had been put through and now have decided to try again. Marriage is on the agenda and against my better judgement. What do I do? He keeps this behavior of breaking up with me when he feels like it. He gets upset at the most petty stuff for example (I posted a pic of a fallen officer and I was cause for a break up...I get blamed for everything even when it is not my fault. And I have no problem admiring when I am wrong. He also treats me as a subordinate and not an equal and I feel disrepected. For example he posted pics of himself on facebook with his shirt off. I told him I felt disrepected due to the fact that women we used to work with can see those photos. Mind you he cheateD on me with some women on the department. One thing you might notice is during live performances Freddie often sang some of the notes an octave lower than originally recorded. When Freddie was in the controlled environment of the studio and not running around on stage he could push his voice to do amazing things. Freddie also had nodules on his vocal chords which caused him some problems especially singing high notes. Once again, in a controlled environment these weren't a problem. Live, however, he chose to sing some notes an octave lower to gain better control of the note. He did this with most of his songs. Totally agree with first answer, peoples attitude to abortion is discusting! Abortion is a LEGAL procedure that a woman can choose to explore should she not feel it is the time is for her to have a baby! It is down to the individual. This is the story: last year I put my work in a critic and because of the great name, I won the gold key (top award). The piece was a found object sculpture, the bottom was a lamp and on the top, I removed the bulb and the cover thing and put in an elegant branch and called the piece enlightment. Apex Alarm?

I have an alarm system through Apex Alarm (or Honeywell Systems) and lately I have been hearing a lot of bad stuff about them. I have been having major problems with this company and went online to research them and found out all kinds of bad stuff. Has anyone else heard bad things or have been having problems with them? My alarm does not work half the time and I have a lot of false alarms or times when I can't set my alarm system properly. I called Apex about this and they came out to fix it but I still have problems. i called and complained multiple times. Once when I called them the techincal support guy said "Well...you can still SET the alarm...we just won't be notified if someone breaks into your home or there is a fire." Ummmm what good is that?!?! They won't let me cancel even though I can't use it half the time and when the guy signed up he never told me it was a 3 year contract. 91 Isuzu npr box truck glow plug Question?

It has the 4bd2 4Cylinder diesel engine with 20,000 miles on it and I don't think the glow plugs are working. It starts fine on a hot day but the colder it gets the harder it gets to start. It runs great once it starts. I here this truck has a glow plug timer in the electrical box near the drivers side wheel. If this timer is bad can I byp it and use a push on and a solenoid or relay to energize them. If so how long can I energize them without burning them up. I haven't had a chance to check anything yet as far as voltage to the plugs but I will tomorrow. I don't think they would all go bad at one time.

sorry to hear that. first of all it isn't your fault at all. there are supplements you can take that are supposed to be good for your memory. they're getting close to a vaccine that is supposed to help prevent it, so you may be in luck soon! as far as your dad, i'm sure they will give him namenda, aricept, or some other medication that will slow the progress of the disease. try to help him keep his mind active. this is the most important thing and you can definitely be a GREAT help to him in that way. try to ask questions from time to time that jog his memory too. just be very patient with him. it is normal for people to experience depression with alzheimer's and they just want to sit. keep him active and remind him you love him and show it. that is the best thing you can do! i've seen people who keep their mind for quite a long time, years actually before things decline. just keep a positive attitude and try to be strong and keep him going! also, sometimes a person's behavior changes when they have alzheimer's. if it seems bizarre or offensive at any time, just try to redirect his attention to something else and don't get upset. patience is a necessity! good luck to you!

Installing Windows 7 update or new hard drive?

Having an issue with a virus or effects from a virus removed. I recently got a new anti-virus (Kaspersky 2010) cause it was obvious I had a virus. So I wanted to check my hard drive for errors and do a defrag after doing a full scan and deletion or qurantine. Neither will let me. After researching how to do a recovery, I tried to run a recovery from the Windows safe mode menu (F8). Well everytime I try, it gets a blue screen of death and restarts. Also when the computer boots normally, it sometimes goes to a black screen with the mouse. If I upgrade to Windows 7 will it try to fix some of those errors, or should I just get a new hard drive and install a full Windows 7?

Eheim 2028 filter not pushing out water?

I have an Eheim 2028, I have had it about two months and as I was doing a water change I noticed it was not spraying water. I opened the top of it and noticed the spring was caught where it closes off so water doesnt spew out when you unhook the hose. I took that out and a red cap looking thing. I guess this is the flow meter. Now it sprays a tiny bit, I try and prime it but it looks like there is not enough suction to force water out of the spray bar. I also looked in the media and it wasn't clogged. Can anyone help?

I have tried green beans, mac n cheese, the little turkey stick from gerber and he just smashes it and bangs it into the high chair (which is really cute but not nutritious). He will pick up banana, toast/bagel, and cheese but that is about it. At this age would he be able to gum chopped chicken for protein? Hello, you can call me Ace. So, lately ive been depressed. Since its winterbreak most people are out with friends, but i sit at home doing nothing, I honestly hate life. To make a long story short, I lost about 60 or 70 dallors because I left my wallet somewhere inside the mall. I looked and couldnt find it. So i went home a cried, and cried. My step dad is very mean (just verbally) and loves to annoy me. Im with him everyday cause my mom works (and he is a teacher, so he gets winter break too) and Im soo stressed. Im pretty and love myself. My dad lives with his my mom (my grandma) and I love both of them to death and they are awesome. (no my dad isn a bum who still lives with mommy or anything) and so anyways... Ive started to cut myself, and it seems like the only thing in the world I can control. I havent told anyone, and if I do ill be in soo much trouble. Anyways when my mom got home from work I told her and now she is mad and keeps calling me miss forgetful. I went in the bathroom and cut myself and instintly cut myself. I dont know what to do anymore. Im not asking you guys to help me to stop cutting myself (cause i dont want to stop) all im asking is a way to cope and make myself less stressed and depressed, (that rymes :) ) and how to respond to my step dad when he purposly annoys me or makes me do EVERYTHING around the house. 3 mth old is violent is her sleep?

Argos store just sold me a used second hand slow cooker, what compensation should I get? I had to get a return?

bus ticket to get to the Argos store after reserving the item online. The bus cost me �5.90 return, I waited for 45 minutes to get home in the pouring rain. When I got home I took it out of the box and it wasn't wrapped in a bag and the cable was loose so I took a closer inspection and it had food on the rim of the lid. I've phoned them and explained the bus travel but now I have to go back to the store again next week, I hope they compensate me more than just the bus fair. How can they resale used goods like that, perhaps I would have been better off going to a market stall instead of a big brand name like Argos and what worries me is not just the hygiene matters but why was it returned in the first place. It's a James Martin branded 5 litre slow cooker made by Wahl. Perhaps it's not such a good product? That's my whinging over with for today.

Why has our new kitten started hissing after two weeks?

My husband found a 8-10 week old kitten in his boat a couple of weeks ago. He brought it home and so far it has done pretty good. He eats, drinks and uses the litter box. We have taken him to the vet and he seems very healthy. We have given him his own space in the laundry room where he spends most of his time behind the dryer. However, my daughters can get him out and play with him for long lengths of time without a problem. He will sit on all of us and purr and snuggle, but the second you put him down he darts under the couch or behind the dryer again. We try to give him his space when he does this. Anyway, I thought we were making some progress with him, but then my daughters went out of town for a couple of days and now all he does is hiss at me when I look at him over the dryer. What's up with that??? He hasn't done much hissing before. My husband was finally able to get him out from behind the dryer last night and coaxed him to let us hold him. Once we had him, he snuggled right up and purred for an hour. I don't know what to do!!! I can't have a kitten that starts spazzing out on us the longer he's here. I realize he's scared, but shouldn't he be coming around??? I don't want my kids to get any more attached to him and I don't want to spend any more on vet bills if we aren't going to keep him...which we won't if he can't be nice. HELP!

My baby had his cord still attached after one week and the Dr. put this silver stuff around it to help it fall off. I thinks she said it was called silver nitrate. It was bright silver and looked like metal and supposedly it help the tissue to heal quicker and the cord to fall off. 3 days later it was completely gone. Call her Dr. a.s.a.p and ask for silver nitrate. They'll know what you're talking about. You can also do an internet search to get some more info on it. The best thing to do is leave it and have the Dr apply that substance and allow it to fall of naturally. It won't be long. Oh yea...they told me not to use alcohol for any reason and that after the silver nitrate it would fall off. They said to just clean it with water until then.

RG8 is a 50 ohm cable. Outdoor antennas and TV tuners are 75 ohm so you definitely do not want to use RG8. RG11 would be suitable but it's bulky and hard to work with. RG6 is the cable most used today and if you put a UHF preamplifier at the antenna you will overcome the losses of the coaxial cable feed line. If the antenna you have does not have a 75 ohm output you will need a 300-75 ohm balun feeding the preamplifier.

Well i have braces and they do not hurt when they put them on. It will only hurt the day after. But to be safe take a pain killer before you get them. When they change the wire it is really fast but it only hurts the day after. The pain only hurts for about a day or two though.

Messed Up Xbox 360 Game or Disk???? HELPPP?

I just rented M Effect for the xbox 360. I think the disk has a problem cuz a few time while playin i get the message sayin " disk unreadable". My 360 also make weird scratchy noises while im playin m effect and m effect only. (no i am NOT switching the 360 up or side ways). I think its maybe cuz there is the sticker for Hollywood video on top of the disk. Anyways i finally got to a certain level and it brought up the "disk unreadable" mssg again. every time i start up my 360, the game it runs allright until i load the file for that certain level im on. i works for a couple seconds then the "disk unreadable" mssg comes up. the disk is a little scratched up but i dont know if the problem is with the disk or the game. What do i so to fix it?

Clic rookie mistake. I have done this many times before, and here's the way you do it. Stay up as late as you need tonight and wake up at about 2:00 pm. Then at 7:00 pm do a very extreme workout.Whatever it is that wil wipe you out. Then fall asleep at at around 12. Trust me I have done this.
