Todays Rappers?

Is it just me? I mean now-a-days I notice alot of rappers focusing on eachother instead of what they doing. I was on youtube the other day and this off brand rapper called, "paper boi" was dissing Plies, all because he was listening to his album and said he was contridicting himself and he wasn't rapping about real stuff. Then came the whole Wayne dissing Jay-Z thing. Rappers seem to have lost the true them of Hip hop, and rap. They might as well bring back the east and west coast beefs, ya dig? What is your take on today's rappers and their efforts to pull others down in their effort to make it to the top?
