Hospital bills - If a patient is uninsured, what is the usual percent of a bill that a hospital will accept?

Depends on the amount owed, usually and whether you can pay the agreed amount in one lump sum. They usually do not discount and allow payments. A starting point is 25%-but I have seen 80% when it was paid in one payment.
