Should I take musclebuilding shakes?

they are kind of worthless for me and tend to give me gas... the only time you would want to increase your protein levels is for rebuilding muscles after you tear them down through exercise and under normal cirstances one gram of protein per pound per day is enough... I'd suggest creatine before working out (creatine is naturally found in every cell of your body and is quite naturally safe), drinking milk, and eating high fiber health bars or high fiber cereals... if you take protein, take it sometime after working out when your muscles need protein
