There was a scab or something in my belly on?

Just a while ago I pulled out a little scab like thing from my belly on. Little hairs were attached to it and it seemed to be my umbilical cord or something. Now there is a little hole in the middle of my belly on and I think I've had this my whole life. I've also never had any surgeries, I'm just wondering if things are alright or not! Thanks.
