I need help.. i wanna get my friend a dog for his birthday :)?

That's nice you want to get such a big gift for your friend... but.. it is not a good idea to get a pet for someone. It is best for them to pick it out themselves and only if they actually want one. Many times people that receive pets as gifts don't really want the dog and give the dog up to a shelter or abandon the dog. If you know forsure that your friend definitely wants a dog, give him a card that says something like "gift certificate for one dog up to $500" or whatever you can spend. Don't buy a dog at a pet store though... they are usually puppymill dogs and you don't want to support that industry.
