What are the best and worst parts of Ealing to live in?

It's all much of a muchness... my best friend lives in West Ealing (W13) and we like the area. Basically, go as far west as you can and avoid Southall. It's so true that W5 IS expensive but a little further out, say around Pitshanger Lane, isn't bad at all.
