Football should be officially renamed soccer if the USA wins the Confederations Cup - yes or no?

If America wins the Confed. Cup, will you guys help kickstart an internet campaign to petition FIFA to officially rename football as soccer? It's a long shot but let's give it a go! I doubt that the US winning the Confed Cup is that far-fetched now. Brazil aren't the team they once were and Bob Bradley's boys look capable of beating any opponent inferior or superior to them!
